I stopped by an ArtPeers venue today (Urban Pharm to be specific) and picked up one of their T-Shirts for a mere ten-spot. I put it on immediately and the slightly rainy day instantly got brighter. I received smiles from strangers and well wishes from passersby as I rolled down wealthy on my shiny new fixie.
As I made my way cross town to capture a few images of ArtPrize entries beginning to take shape, I just couldn’t help feeling like a transformed man in my brand new shirt of robin’s egg blue and deep orange hues. Maybe it was just the fact that I knew from Ryan VanderMeer’s facebook status that this is ArtPeer’s sole means of fundraising for an outstanding cause… Or perhaps I was just overcome with a brief but powerful moment of complete superiority due to my recent arts patronage and kick-ass hipster ride smack in the middle of uptown…
Or probably it was just that my wife said she really liked how it looked on me when I got home. At any rate, I’m glad I rode over to snatch one up and you can do the same at any of the ArtPeers venues listed on the ArtPeers website.

Your ArtPeers t-shirt and fixie are enough to make any hipster blush.
This morning:
-Wearing ArtPeers T again
-Rode fixie up Diamond to Lake
-Turkish coffee at Marie’s
-Carrying gear in a Finnish Army surplus gas mask pouch
Almost fell over at the stop light cause my head had grown so large ;-)
